LoRaCloud is Sunsetting on July 31st 2025
We're pleased to announce that our LoRa Edge™ technology is now fully supported through our proven network of cloud service providers. Our ultra-low power platform, which integrates long-range LoRa® transceiver, multi-constellation GNSS scanner, and passive Wi-Fi AP MAC address scanner, has successfully established robust support through industry-leading cloud partners.
Building on existing market momentum, our GNSS solver technology is already licensed to premier cloud partners including AWS through their AICDL service, Traxmate and Tencent Cloud. These established partnerships deliver enhanced capabilities to our customers, including:
- Advanced indoor tracking precision
- Flexible business engagement models
- Seamless compatibility with existing LoRa Edge deployments
- Extended service options through multiple providers
The cryptographic key creation and retrieval within our Join-Server will be phased out on July 31, 2025 along with our Join-Server service. Our Join-Server functionality concept has been successfully adopted and is offered by major LoRa Network Server (LNS) partners, providing customers with consolidated service options. All cryptographic keys on the Join-Server must be extracted from our system before July 31, 2025 for use on other partner systems.
To streamline the ecosystem and leverage these enhanced partner capabilities, we will be transitioning all LoRa Cloud™ services to our partner network by July 31st, 2025. This strategic move ensures our customers benefit from:
- Best-in-class cloud solutions from industry leaders
- Enhanced feature sets not previously available
- Broader selection of service providers
- Simplified vendor relationships
Customers can continue to leverage the LR11xx IC’s cryptographic engine for security key management, either during manufacturing or via application code as described in the respective LR1110 and LR1120 user manuals. Those keys would no longer be flashed by Semtech during the IC manufacturing process.
